Orèvance portfolio modelling workspace

About Orèvance

Built for the discipline of holding a decision, not just making one.

Orèvance exists to remove analytical noise from portfolio construction — so professionals can spend their attention on judgment, not spreadsheets.

Why Orèvance was built

Orèvance started from a simple observation: the people responsible for portfolio decisions were spending most of their time on data assembly, not on the decisions themselves. Reconciling feeds, formatting reports, and re-running the same scenarios ahead of every review left little room for the judgment that actually mattered.

We set out to build a system that handles the repeatable analytical work — data structuring, scenario modelling, comparative output — while leaving the interpretation and final call exactly where it belongs: with the professional using it.

That principle has not changed since. Orèvance is not built to replace decision-makers. It is built to make sure their time is spent on decisions, not preparation.

A clear line between analysis and decision

Our mission is narrow by design. We focus on the structured, repeatable parts of portfolio work — the parts that benefit from consistency and speed — and we stay out of the parts that require context, accountability, and human judgment.

01 Structure the inputs Bring scattered data into a consistent, comparable format.
02 Model the scenarios Run the analytical variations that would otherwise take hours by hand.
03 Surface the comparison Present outcomes side by side, without a recommendation baked in.
04 Leave the decision to you The final judgment stays with the person accountable for it.

What guides how we build

These are the working principles behind every feature we ship — not slogans, but constraints we hold ourselves to.

Value 01

Transparency of process

Every output should be traceable back to the inputs and assumptions that produced it. No hidden weighting, no black-box scoring.

Value 02

Judgment stays human

We build tools that inform decisions. We do not build tools that make decisions for the people who are accountable for them.

Value 03

Restraint over noise

More output is not more useful. We would rather show three well-modelled scenarios than thirty shallow ones.

Value 04

Consistency by design

The same inputs should produce the same structured output every time — reliability is a feature, not an afterthought.

A small, focused group

Orèvance is built by a small team working across portfolio analysis, software engineering, and applied modelling. We keep the group deliberately compact — it keeps the product's scope honest and its logic easy to explain.

Rather than scaling into a large organisation, we've chosen to scale the depth of the system itself: more rigorous modelling, clearer outputs, and tighter feedback loops with the professionals who use it daily.

We work directly with the people using Orèvance to understand where analysis is genuinely helpful and where it starts to get in the way. That feedback shapes the roadmap more than any internal assumption does.

How we work

  • Product — shaped by direct use, not abstract feature requests.
  • Modelling — reviewed for consistency before any output ships.
  • Support — feedback loops kept short and direct.

Note: Orèvance provides structured modelling output for informational purposes. It does not constitute financial advice, and all portfolio decisions remain the responsibility of the user.
